Get everything into the right order.
Choose your documents
For example, combine a cover letter, a résumé and supporting documents. Select at least two PDFs within the limits. Your originals stay unchanged.
Check the sequence
Move entire documents up or down. The preview shows where each file’s pages will appear in the output. Remove anything you do not want to include.
Merge and review
Download the merged PDF and open it in your PDF viewer. Check every page, especially unusual page sizes, links, fonts and annotations.
Before you combine your PDFs
Will pages be resized or turned into images?
No. Pages are copied as PDF pages, retaining their page sizes and rotation. Existing text stays text when present in the source; scanned images do not gain searchable text. This tool does not apply image compression or OCR.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs are rejected, including those that open without a password but have encryption-based restrictions. Choose an unencrypted copy you are authorized to use. This tool does not unlock PDFs.
What about forms, signatures and bookmarks?
PDFs with form dictionaries or certification permissions are rejected to avoid broken interactive fields or misleading signature results. Export a flattened, unsigned copy first. Document outlines, bookmarks and attachments are not merged. Review annotations and links after export.
Why did a merge stop?
Damaged, incomplete, unsupported or oversized files are rejected. Inspection has a 30-second limit per file and 60 seconds per selection; merging has a 60-second limit and a 60 MiB output cap. Cancel stops the worker immediately. Try fewer or freshly exported documents.
Can I extract pages or add photos?
Use Split PDF to extract PDF pages first. Use Images to PDF to create a document from JPEG, PNG or WebP files first, then merge it here. Use the Photo Print Sheet Maker to put multiple photos on a single sheet.
Does merging remove private information?
No. The output uses generic document metadata, but personal information within pages, annotations or referenced objects can remain. Use a dedicated redaction and sanitization workflow if you need to remove sensitive content.
